The Philadelphia Eagles have announced the release of veteran linebacker Will Witherspoon,Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Canvas, who came over in a trade for rookie wide receiver Brandon Gibson just before the deadline last season. Witherspoon started at both middle and weakside linebacker.
With Stewart Bradley coming back from a knee injury and Akeem Jordan likely assuming a starting role,Antheia Hobo PM, Witherspoon became expendable. The former Rams starter helped the Eagles in a pinch and he showed excellent leadership in the locker room.
